Does it feel easier to have a drink in the evening than not to have one?
Thousands of people are drinking wine or beer every night, just like the way we used to drink tea.
Before you realise it this has become a habit. It's a learnt behaviour.
It's only when we say to ourselves
" I'm not going to drink tonight "
and we feel the effects of not having a glass of wine or a beer.
Anxiety, Agitation..
Its easier to just have that drink...
so you just have a glass of wine or beer or maybe more.

“Dear Sean,
I’ve been wanting to email you for a while, but didn’t want to jinx my success! I think seeing as I’m into the tenth month of sobriety I’m safe enough now though :)
I wanted to wish you my hearty and sincerest thanks for helping me to finally kick the drinking habit. Alcohol has only passed my lips once (well, twice) since I saw you, and it was purely accidental! I was out with friends and my friend passed me, what I believed to be sparkling water. I took a big gulp of what turned out to be double vodka and soda. I pulled a face and gave it back, and she apologised and handed me another drink. I took a big gulp of that to take away the taste of the vodka, only for it to be yet another double vodka and soda!! At this point, my body (and subconscious?) reacted, and I had to leg it off to the jax to projectile vomit!. My friend was very apologetic, it was an honest mistake, but I assured her that I was in fact, delighted to learn that the hypnotherapy had worked to such a degree that my body couldn’t even tolerate alcohol anymore!. Please feel free to use this story with clients, if you like. I think it’s a testament to your voodoo powers ;)
I’m doing much, much better since I quit drinking. Still a work in progress, obviously, as we all are, but the work is much easier with a clear head and no hangover!
I could go on and on, but I’ll keep it relatively brief. Again, a massive thank you for giving me that much-needed nudge in the right direction, it really has done wonders for me.
I hope this message finds you well.
All the best,”
